Typical email between the husband (Paul) and my dad….

Let’s discuss this picture from last week’s US Magazine, and yes, I know I’m a week late, take it up with US they can’t seem to get me their magazine on time. Anyways, remember those mirrors I got a while back? Yes, those. Well, it appears that someone else also likes shopping at MY flea market, and yes I am possessive, I just don’t want other people hanging out there and stealing my goods now that Taylor shops there. But, at the same time I’m patting myself on the back since she TOTALLY copied me - she must have read that post - and bought the same mirrors in turquoise. I kind of like her more for this.
That reminds me I should totally hang those up this weekend.
And dad - when you read this…I know you don’t know what a Taylor Swift is but this should teach you to speak of my mirrors in such a manner again. That is all. Love you.
It’s been a while since I have posted one of these gems. I really should post more of these emails and avoid loosing them in my gmail sans labels (inbox of 18,338). Without further ado, welcome to my life:
Dear Liz,
It was really great to see you. I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoyed your visit. Even now that you are gone I feel inspired. I have been busy, but yesterday I began the task of packing the four mirrors that you bought at an L.A. flea market and entrusted with me to ship to you in New York. I wrapped each one in bubble wrap with the same care and attention that I gave many years ago to wrapping your baby ass in diapers. While doing this I came up with an interesting idea for a new website. I wondered if you would mind me featuring your mirrors on the site, which will be called uglyassedmirrorsoftheworld.com. I just did a name search and it is definitely available. Let me know. You will of course receive full credit as owner of the mirrors.
Love, Aba
Please note - as soon as I receive said mirrors I will post pictures so you can judge for yourself.

Happy 45th (I was told that was the correct and only year to use) Birthday to the best dad in the world!
Love,
Your favorite daughter (the one on the left, the one who recognized your birthday first - don’t forget that)
Sup Tumblr,
Sorry I’ve been MIA lately, what with Tumblr only working sometimes (no harsh feelings) and my husband signing me up for the gym (hint?) I’ve been pretty occupied. Here’s what you missed last month on Liz:
- Little Brother got engaged
- Was asked if I was pregnant in synagogue (see above paragraph on new gym membership)
- Paris ROCKED! (see below)
- Parents came to visit whereas my dad took me grocery shopping and my mom cleaned my apartment!
- When my bus broke down one night I hitchhiked home, hereby proving that good people still exist in this world
- And in the clumsy files, I cut myself 3 different times with kitchen utensils, woke up once by banging my head in the wall and my favorite - walked so hard into the door, my boss came running.
- Oh, and in my spare time I began a mosaic
Glad we’re all on the same page again.
